Fleming Construction Group Agrees to Acquire the Program Accounts and Construction Services Division of BlueScope Construction
Acquisition Expands FCG’s Geographic Footprint, Adds Key Talent and Experience in the Data Center Market
The Fleming Construction Group (FCG) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the Program Accounts and Construction Services divisions of BlueScope Construction from BlueScope Buildings North America, effective February 5th, 2024. The acquisition expands FCG’s existing geographical footprint to include a new office and team in Kansas City, MO, and it supports FCG’s growth and diversification plans by adding experience and capabilities in the rapidly growing data center market.
The new Fleming Kansas City team has supplied and erected an impressive 4.5M+ square feet of structural steel, roof and wall cladding solutions for data centers across multiple client campuses in the US over the past decade, something few other companies in this space can claim.
In addition, the acquisition immediately accelerates FCG’s growth and development in three primary service areas:
- Capability – Expands best-in-class steel erection capabilities and capacity in what was already the 4th largest pre-engineered building systems erection firm, Fleming Steel Erectors.
- Support – Adds more proven professionals to assist with remote general contracting services to support our repeat industrial development clients.
- Expertise – Further establishes Fleming 8760 as the most accomplished metal roof installation, repair, and retrofit experts in the industry.
