We’ve built more than 70 million square feet of commercial and industrial space since we opened our doors in 1946. That’s the equivalent of 1,215 football fields.
As energy prices soar, individuals and organizations are increasingly focused on energy efficiency. That makes sense from a cost-saving point of view. And it’s good for the environment. Fortunately, the outlook for more energy efficient systems is brighter now than ever before. Recent advances in technology have facilitated a quantum leap in this area—through energy modeling, also known as whole-building energy modeling (BEM).
“Effective personnel management extends beyond the obvious physical considerations. Employee morale is just as important. And that is affected by less-tangible factors such as company culture, leadership character, communication, and expectation levels.”
On March 29, the Fleming Construction Group was recognized at the Butler National Builder Meeting awards banquet and reception at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix with two awards for our 2021 work as Butler builders. Functionality is always the first requirement for any building design. But form is just important. In commercial building construction—large-scale tilt-wall buildings in particular—esthetic considerations are often minimized. But even in this realm, limitless opportunities exist for innovation and creative excellence.
A good risk management strategy is a process in which each stop along the supply chain is continuously evaluated against rising or falling risk associated with technological advances, politics, economic changes and a myriad of other influential outside forces.
With thirty million-plus square feet of warehouse and distribution projects completed, and more than seventy million square feet in total construction, The Fleming Construction Group has expertise in all stages of construction contracting, management and implementation.
The past two years have taught us valuable lessons about the importance of balancing growth and expansion without sacrificing infrastructure at home.
